Equine Portrait Photography

For me Equine Portrait photography involves capturing two things in a photograph; the beauty, grace and personality of your horse(s) together with the deep bond you share with them.  Each shot turning fleeting moments into timeless art making memories that can be reflected on for a lifetime and beyond.

Before booking we’ll schedule a call to find out if we’re the right fit for each other and chat about all the things that will make this a memorable day for you; after all it’s not just about capturing the memories, it’s about making them!

What to expect

Setting the Scene

If you’re new to this, don’t worry!  Once you’re booked in, you’ll receive your comprehensive Photoshoot Guide (including style guides) to read through before we sit down for your pre-shoot call.  This call takes place four weeks before your shoot, it’s a great chance for us to get to know each other and is the perfect opportunity to plan your photoshoot in detail. Together we’ll go through who your horse is, your preferred locations, potential outfits (yours and your horses!) and craft an experience that epitomises the relationship between you and your equine partner(s).

Where the magic happens

By the time we get to the big day, you should be fully prepared to get dressed up and have some fun!  On the day itself, we’ll have 2-3 hours together, so plenty of time for me to meet  your horse(s), scout out prefect locations and finalise your outfit choices, so all that’s left for you and your horse to do is to have fun and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.  Again, if you don’t think your set up is appropriate for a photoshoot, don’t be concerned; with a great eye for picking out the best location possible and with a touch of Hogwarts, we’ll get some truly wonderful images.  The only thing I’d ask is that your horse is comfortable in any particular setting; after all, it’s got to be fun for them too!

Behind the Scenes

After the magical day itself, I’ll take myself off to craft the perfect images.  Most of my work is done in camera so editing is minimal but because I’ll be taking a lot of photographs it usually takes 2-3 weeks to get the initial edits done.

The Big Reveal

On a date and time that’s convenient, we’ll meet up and I’ll take you through the images one by one.  So you can take the time to choose the one you’d like framed for your wall.  There will be quite a number of photographs to choose from, so if you fall in love with more  than one, there is always the option to purchase more.

Investment

For this bespoke experience of immortalising the relationship between you and your horse and receiving a piece of wall art that you can cherish for a lifetime, the investment is £450 which includes a 16″ print, professionally framed to suit your home décor.

I can’t thank Tracey enough. Her approach and incredible understanding of horses allowed my pony to be relaxed; and he definitely loved being the star of the day. Tracey was calm and organised, so I had to do nothing but be there and smile with my best friend, Mr Tickety Boo. The photos Tracey took captured our love and partnership in a way I didn’t think possible

I absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. Tracey was able to capture every shot I had in mind and more. Without fail every photo captured my relationship with my horse and his plethora of expressions. Tracey took such great care of us in our first photoshoot. Just an overall incredible experience I will cherish forever.
