To see what I get up to on a regular basis you can find me on Facebook or Instagram

My photographic style is quite eclectic!  I love being able to tell the story of the intimate relationship that you and your four legged companions share in the most unobtrusive way possible!  My photoshoots are generally portrait shoots but they can include action shots with your horses at liberty or under saddle (or bareback/bridleless ) if both you and your horse are equipped to do this and the situation is safe to do so.

Therefore a shoot with me will typically include some candid shots that capture the truly unique moments between you and your horse(s) and/or dog(s).  These area generally snuck in when you’re not expecting them (think, dance like no one’s looking!) and are generally captured whilst either preparing for a posed shot, when taking a breather or walking between locations.

There will also be posed shots which add an element of sophistication for wall art images (although I’ve seen some stunning candid shots in frames too).

With these two styles together, the images create an editorial type photo shoot where the totality of the images tend to look amazing in albums because they tell the whole story of you and your relationship with your beloved horse(s) and/or dog(s).

… and if there are any specific images you have in mind, then please let me know and I’ll do my very best to deliver!

To see my work, please have a look at my gallery.

For an equine photoshoot I allow 2 hours on the day and for a canine photoshoot I generally allow an hour.  All that said, if it takes longer, that’s no problem at all.

BUT a photoshoot with me isn’t just about the time on the day!  To understand what a 5* photoshoot experience with your horse or dog entails click on one of the links below:

Once we’ve got your photoshoot date confirmed, you’ll receive a comprehensive Photoshoot Guide that will go into how to prepare you and your four legged friends.  This includes style guides and ideas on how you can use your images once you’ve chosen them.

Four weeks before your shoot we’ll have a detailed conversation so I can understand a little more about what you want to get from the shoot, we can discuss any specific shots you’d like, outfit changes, potential locations and how you want to use the images.

Our final pre-shoot call takes place a week before the shoot, just to touch base, discuss the upcoming weather (after all, we are in Great Britain!) and make sure we both have all the information we need and we’re both ready for the shoot.

This really depends on where your horse or dog is comfortable.

Before we start the shoot, we’ll do a reccy to see which locations will work best with the type of photographs that you’d love and the outfits you’ve chosen.

With horses we typically start in the stable area as this is where they tend to feel most relaxed, that gives them (and you!) time to get used to me and the camera!

With dogs, we tend to let them have a run around first, just to get rid of some energy.  This also gives us the opportunity of searching out the best locations for the shoot.

I’ll be keeping a close eye on the weather a week prior to the shoot so if it’s looking a bit dicey, I’ll give you the heads up in our last pre-shoot call before the big day.  However, because we’re in England and the weather can change in a blink of the eye, we can make the final decision as to whether to go ahead or reschedule closer to the day itself.

The three things I have in mind when making a decision is, is it safe to go ahead e.g are the humans and animals going to be okay, are the conditions favourable for capturing unforgettable images and will my kit come out unscathed (it’s expensive and I’m precious about it – don’t judge me! 😊)

A 16” bespoke professionally framed piece of wall art worth £350 is included in your shoot fee.  This is framed in a style to suit your home décor and, during your in person viewing, you get to choose your favourite image which will adorn your home!

Along side that I offer the opportunity to purchase additional images either digital, framed prints or albums.

Absolutely, as well as the standard framed print you receive as part of your package, I also offer multi-frames, canvases and albums so please don’t be afraid to request something you really want. If it’s not within my usual offering I can generally source this for you.  I will always do my best to exceed your expectations.

There is a full list of ‘Dos and Don’ts’ set out under “How your images can be used” in my Terms and Conditions.

I don’t work on an hourly rate, I look at it another way…

The 5* experience I offer takes four of my core values into account:

  1. first and foremost; YOU, my client, and ensuring that you and your four legged companions are fully prepped to have the best time at your photoshoot with me;
  2. my skill set, which has taken years to perfect and produces photographs my clients love;
  3. providing a ‘done for you’ service so that all you have to do is relax, have fun and enjoy the experience which results in a stunning piece of bespoke wall art for your home; and
  4. my time because we only have a finite amount of it!

So taking all the following elements of the photoshoot experience into account:

  1. Pre photoshoot prep
  2. The photoshoot itself
  3. First round editing
  4. In person viewing
  5. Final editing of chosen images
  6. Engaging professional framers

My fee for a photoshoot with your horse(s) is £450 and the same experience with your dog(s) is £350.  As stated above this includes a 16” bespoke professionally framed piece of wall art worth £350.

You can indeed.  Any number of family members and up to four horses and/or dogs are fine, and you can let me know in our pre-shoot call how many will be joining us on the day.  If you would like anymore, please ask as this could be accommodated but I may need to adjust the fee.

Rather than share the same photoshoot I prefer to concentrate on one person and their horse(s) or dog(s) at a time to make sure I give exactly the same care and attention to each person.  That said, if you want to book your photoshoot on the same day as your friend and you are at the same yard then I am happy to offer a discounted rate for the two shoots so please call me to discuss further.

We’ll have a giggle, adjust our plans and make the best of it.  Often it’s when they’re misbehaving I can capture their true personality!  Whatever happens I’ll get some great shots for you.

Amazing experience! Tracey perfectly captured my horse’s beauty and our bond. The session was stress-free, and the final photos are stunning. Highly recommend!

I can’t thank Tracey enough. Her approach and incredible understanding of horses allowed my pony to be relaxed; and he definitely loved being the star of the day. Tracey was calm and organised, so I had to do nothing but be there and smile with my best friend, Mr Tickety Boo. The photos Tracey took captured our love and partnership in a way I didn’t think possible

I absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. Tracey was able to capture every shot I had in mind and more. Without fail every photo captured my relationship with my horse and his plethora of expressions. Tracey took such great care of us in our first photoshoot. Just an overall incredible experience I will cherish forever.
